PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – CLASSIC

This product makes a stunning replica of dressed sandstone found in Oudtshoorn and the Orange Free State. Dry packed or grouted it’s straight edges give a more classical and formal feel, but you still get the warm textured look. Like the dry stack cladding, it can be used both inside and outside. Awesome on chimneys and fireplaces alike, or to cover those ugly cracked splashbacks up to DPC** level. Classic can be dry stacked or grouted if grouted we recommend a 10mm grouting joint.

** A damp-proof course (DPC) is a barrier through the structure designed to prevent moisture rising by capillary action such as through a phenomenon known as rising damp. Rising damp is the effect of water rising from the ground into the property. The damp proof course may be horizontal or vertical.

Classic cladding comes in 7 sizes, with no specific pattern.

USEFUL HINTS

Always use a level when doing Classic cladding. Work from the bottom upwards. Always let the cutting sideshow upwards from eye level and downwards from eye level.
